Pawcatuck FD was dispatched to a possible structure fire at 19 Moss Street, off West Broad Street. En route, units were notified one occupant might still be inside.
Upon arrival, units found a fire in a first floor kitchen of 2 1/2 story wood frame dwelling. During extinguishment, the body of a female was discovered on the kitchen floor. A working fire was transmitted with request for a first alarm assignment.
