Location: 129 Fulton St off Nassau St.

B-1 has 2 manholes burning

CO in surrounding buildings are reaching over 1000ppm.

Numerous buildings evacuated.

ConEd working to isolate the manholes.

Haz-Mat box with no Haz-Mat. At that point is it not just a manhole fire with elevated CO?

Declaring a 10-80 allows for EMS HazTac resources to use certain protocols if necessary and brings in an array of resources that otherwise would have to be individually special called

I didn’t know it was a 10-80. Why weren’t the HM units assigned too?
