Yep, interesting CIDS had it as multiple dwelling and didn't mention anything about stores being on the 1st floor. I didn't realize till I looked at google maps.
If you work the neighborhood you’d know that every building on Sherman has stores on the first floor. “Mixed occupancy” isn’t a classification of building or building type. Our books and operating procedures are based off building type and construction. Not what they’re used for.
 
CIDS only as good as the companies supplying the info.
When you go to put CIDS in the computer, “mixed occupancy” isn’t an option. Class 3 and multiple dwelling are though. You get only a certain amount of characters in the notes section. If we put “mixed occupancy” for all our buildings we’d run out of space. It being a mixed occupancy doesn’t determine how we’re going to attack the fire. It’s being a class 3 multiple dwelling does though

Just out of curiosity, if you had more characters would you include it being a mixed? Or are you saying it's not CIDS worthy?
