The ISIS terror group has claimed responsibility for the attack in Russia, according to a short statement published by ISIS-affiliated news agency Amaq on Telegram on Friday.

ISIS has not provided evidence to support the claim.

Not a lover of the Soviet government by any means but if ISIS did this they screwed with the wrong people. Putin is beholden to no sets of rules, actions, or their consequences. Remember the general who tried the coup, what happened to him? And they were friends.

There has not been a Soviet government since 1991.

The current Russian Federation is in no way similar to the former USSR.

Russia has been a nation of some kind since about 880. The Bolshevik revolution was a 75 year period in that long history.

It is worthwhile to do a little research on modern Russia. The media gives a very tainted view.

President Putin has a strong relationship with Patriarch Krill and the Russian Orthodox Church. He might have been sent to the Gulag or worse for that in the Communist days.

While many of the European nations are tearing down churches or converting them to mosques, Russia is building them.

government was a loose term by me, someone is calling the shots so to speak.
