So help me understand, why the relocation for 94 blocks.By the time they get in the response area, thier 10-8 and then probably sent back.Just trying to understand.
I can’t answer it I’m not a dispatcher - i have just read what’s on this site for the past few years and inferred that there is a reason (or not) for things to be done in the world of relocations when providing fire coverage in parts of the city at any given time

I'll take a stab at it: this job took up more than 1/3rd of the engines south of Central Park, so they're not going to use anybody down there as a relocator, especially during the day. If you start to look north from midtown, 23 and 44 do not relocate, they're not likely to move 39 as everybody around them is at the job, 22 was already moved, so realistically they're down to a handful of companies (who may have been OOS or on calls) before they need to look at going to Harlem (which is engine dense) or out of the boro for a relocation.

Nobody knows how long the job is going to take. May take 15 minutes, may take 7 hours.

There is absolutely no harm in relocating a unit from a resource dense area to an area that has all of its resources operating at a fire. It doesn’t matter if they make it 10 blocks, 20 blocks, all the way to their relocation, it is a preventative measure used to ensure proper coverage when coverage is thin.

(Also — some companies will call and request to be relocated. That’s why you’ll see the same units popping up on jobs well out of their area over and over again.)
