LaGuardia Airport. PAPD requested a Crash Box be filled out for a plane with a smoke condition.
Time 0944hrs
 
BC46 reports the plane is on the ground. they had smoke in the cockpit and th plane ha been evacuated as per PAPD.
 
Delta aircraft made a safe landing, PAPD indicating light smoke in the cockpit, holding FDNY units outside the airport.  All passengers evacuated from aircraft safely.

 
Would anyone possible know what the response would be to a crash box?
 
A crash box at either LaGuardia or JFK is an automatice 2nd alarm response with many special units, Engine 308 and 316 located near each airport have a hose wagon they are assigned to respond with, this carries LDH due to limited hydrant system. I will get the actual response and post when i can. At least 8 engines and 4 ladders plus the special units, not sure if 1 or more rescues and number of squads.
 
2nd alarm assignment plus: 2 additional satellites, 1 additional battalion as a Staging Manager, 1 additional rescue, nearest hosewagon (E316 for LGA or E308 for JFK), foam carrier (usually Foam 260 or 294), HazMat 1, HazMat Battalion, Marine company and seasonal Marine Company (if available)

Box 269 Assignment (Kennedy Airport)
8 Engine Companies                       1 RAC Unit
5 Ladder Companies (1 FAST Unit)     1 Safety Battalion
4 Battalion Chiefs                           1  Tactical Support Unit
2 Rescue Companies                        1 Foam Carrier
3 Satellite Units                              Field Communications Unit
1 Deputy Chief                               Mask Service Unit
1 Marine Company                           Haz-Mat 1
1 Squad (Haz-Mat Technician Unit)     Special Operations Battalion
NOTE: Engine Company 308 responds to Box 269 with the JFK Hose Wagon equipped with
3000' of 5" hose.
The Squad Company responds as the Haz-Mat Technician Unit. Requests for
additional Squad Companies shall be the responsibility of the Incident Commander.

Should be same for LaGuardia (Box 37) except Hose Wagon different
