BkD to B31 - Due to quality and quantity of calls loading up the box. Reports of fire out the window. Adding E224, R2, Sq1.

B31 - Please 10-77 the box. Civilian burned, please send EMS. @0137

BkD to B31 - Do you want to transmit a 10-45?

B31 - Negative, they were already outside burned before we got to the scene.

D11 - Transmit 2 10-45s, no code. Including the 10-45 in front of the building

D11 - PWH @0201. Duration: 28 minutes

D11 - 1 10-45 is a Code 3, 1 is a Code 4

FC - Under Control @0220 Duration: 47 minutes

D11 - Send a hazmat response for lithium ion batteries. They are in the apt but not involved. @0241

Why wouldn't it be a 10-45 if the patient was outside the building before the units arrived?
And if it's a protocol etc why did they end up changing it to a 10-45?
