Address: 67, 69, & 71 Bay 35 Street - between Benson Avenue and 86 Street

Gas Explosion with 3, 2 story 20x40 PD's on fire.

Major technical matrix assigned.

0714 - E-253 - We have a gas explosion. Transmit the 2nd Alarm on arrival.

0720 - Bn. 42 - The neighboring building, 69 Bay 35, is also fully involved. I'll get back to you with the address of the original fire building.

0722 - E-245 - We're just a couple of blocks out. Do you want to assign us?

0724 - Bn. 42 - The original building is 69 bay 35. We also have 71 fully involved and a 3rd PD also involved.

0727 - Bn. 42 - Give a 10-60 for this box. We have 4 L/S, 3 L/O, all outside activity. We're stretching a line to the 3rd structure.

0730 - Bn. 42 - The original fire building is 67, 69 is fully involved, and there is fire in 71 Bay 35 Street.

0732 - Div. 8 - We need Nat Grid to shut off gas forthwith.

0740 - Div. 8 - 4 L/S/O, we also have a tower ladder operating. Primaries are negative in exposure 4A, we're also pulling out of 4A and going to exterior operations.

0749 - FC - We have fire in three PD's. We need a priority response from the gas utility. All exterior operations.

0755 - FC - Searches in exposure 3 are complete and negative.

0800 - FC- There was a complete collapse of the original fire building and exposure 4. There are no reported victims of the original fire building and exposure 4 is unknown.

0812 - FC - Secondaries are complete and negative in exposures 2 & 4A. Searches will be delayed in the fire building and exposure 4 due to the collapse. All occupants have been accounted for. 4 L/S/O and 1 tower ladder operating. DWH - Duration 1 hour.

0855 - FC - MBFKD, all exterior handlines are being shut down. National Grid is on scene and are going to need to dig the street. Fire marshalls are 10-84 and searching with the K9 unit. Make this a 10-41 code 1. PWH - Duration 1 hour 44 minutes.
