2/7/26: Stonington, CT- working structure fire

Quiambaug FD responded to a reported structure fire at 211 Cove Road.
First arriving unit reported heavy fire in the basement and requested first alarm assignment.
Roads were extremely slippery due to snowfall and gusting winds.

Response:
Quiambaug: Engine T-21 and Tanker T-24
Old Mystic : Engine, Tower Ladder and Rescue
Pawcatuck: Engine T-42 FAST (RIT)
Mystic River Ambulance
Stonington PD

John, I'm not familiar with the responses in that area. With the first arriving company reporting heavy fire and requesting a first alarm assignment, what was sent on the initial response, and what does the first alarm consist of?

In this case, initial alarm was just Quiambaug and they responded with engine T 21 and tanker T 24. No hydrants in area. On working fire, requested assistance from Old Mystic. Fast Team (RIT) from Law stuck assigned next.
