I remember where I was, standing on the pier at the Navy Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. Smoking a cigarette and trying to pick my jaw up when I read the headline.

Easy to remember where you were that Day. I was on Williamsbridge road in the Bronx driving home from a lumber yard and had lumber piled up so I could not immediately get to the scanner in the car. I remember the confusion on the news radio. It was a transformer explosion, no it wasn't. Finally got home and got the scanner on and will always remember the incredible amount of radio traffic. There are very few days that actually stick out in the mind and this was definetly one of them.
