Just thought I'd post some run statistics for 2013 for some other metropolitan fire departments aside from the FDNY. Most are from Connecticut. Most of the info is from CTFire-EMS.com
These numbers are the total incidents each department responded to, as opposed to the total number of runs each unit made. All of the departments listed respond to emergency medical-related calls in some capacity.
Boston, MA - 74,191 (Includes 25 2nd Alarms, 9 3rd Alarms, 4 4th Alarms, 3 5th Alarms, 1 6th Alarm, 1 8th Alarm)
New Haven, CT - 27,143
Hartford, CT - 23,053
Waterbury, CT - 17,763
Bridgeport, CT - 15,319 (Busiest Engine Co. - Engine 3, 2,291 runs/Busiest Truck Co. - Ladder 5, 2,014 runs)
West Haven, CT - 11,025
East Hartford, CT - 10,476
Stamford, CT - 10,318 (Busiest Engine Co. - Engine 1, 2,304 runs/Busiest Truck Co. - Truck 1, 1,699 runs) (Only paid SFD, does not include Volunteer FD's in Stamford)
Hamden, CT - 9,603
Meriden, CT - 9,112
Fairfield, CT - 8,839
New London, CT - 6,683
East Haven, CT - 6,504
Stratford, CT - 5,453
It would be very interesting to know the year-end run stats for any metro-NYC departments, like in Westchester, Jersey, or on Long Island if anyone has that information.
