E92 relocated to E52 for the day..

Well....that'll make ya crazy.  Typical....place an "A" company in the quarters of a "C" company while they're closed....

How about spending a couple bucks to staff the company with OT instead of a relocator...

Wasn't there a 7th alarm in these same houses in March of 2001?
Wow, Frank, what a memory!  Have all those Big Macs you've watched Willy scarf down done that to you? I can't remember where I was at all in 2001 (except for my wife's birthday, the 11th of September), but you remember a fire, even if it was a 7-bagger!  My hat is off to you, sir!

Ray, I remember that day well because it was my last day working in the Bronx before transferring up to Westchester on April 1, 2001. I'm pretty sure it was Friday March 29th. I was working the 6am-6pm shift and the Fire Dept dispatcher called shortly thereafter requesting a crew to shut off gas. I hadn't even gotten a cup of coffee yet. I also knew that neighborhood well having grown up a few blocks away on Clay Ave and 169 St. And all the Big Macs Willie has scarfed down has given me more material to break his chops with. One last thing. I can remember what I did in 2001. I can't remember what I did yesterday.........lol.

In photos # 89 & 91 check the wooden utility pole that snapped ....top part of course is electric but how many of these around NYC areas that have overhead electric & cable & or fiber optic lines are overloaded ?....i would say when the wooden poles were installed they were not designed to carry the modern day weight or last as long as they have.....the utilities using these poles should be mandated to update & replace as needed.....also the cable wire spaghetti consists of a lot of defunct cable stuff....they should be forced to police this.
