Bronx All-Hands Box 2249, Courtlandt Ave, at E151st street, fire on the third floor of a school. @14:20hrs

Squad 61 took in this box, as SQ41 was first due engine.
 
Just as a matter of interest, how long would it have taken SQ61 to travel from their quarters to the box, i know they got there and operated for a short time before going 10-8 a while after the 'under control'. Not sure of the distance, but it looks a long treck!!
 
Its about a 5 mile run, depending how they go, which is likely to be Tremont Ave to Sheridan Expwy to Westchester Ave. 10 to 15 minutes depending on traffic. Special Ops chauffeurs have to really know the entire Borough, but the Dispatchers will assist if needed.
 
They could probably shoot down Bruckner Boulevard to 149 and then across 149. It's a pretty straight run.
