Just a few blocks behind the quarters of E168 off Rossville Ave. A previous multi-alarm fire struck these townhouses years ago which resulted in a fatality. E164 had a long run to get in first due in this area. Public outcry resulted in the formation of E168 in June of 2005.

Staten Island radio reception is poor. All I heard was a garbled "structural collapse." Please, someone let us know what is happening if you can.

Agree with MM about quality of SI radio . . . it's awful.  FC stated there was a partial collapse (did'nt catch which bldg), a roll call had been conducted and all members were accounted for . . . all members removed from bldg.  Apparently Mayday was a false alarm.

There are a ton of these SI townhouses built in the 70s and 80s.  Thrown up rapidly.  Limited hydrants.  Building alterations over the years.
