Duct Fire in the lower level of a 7 story 400x400 passenger rail terminal.
1404 - Manhattan - Phone Alarm for black smoke coming from the terminal near the clock on the mezzanine level. Command Post (per CIDS)- 416 Lexington Avenue.
1406 - Manhattan - We have E-26, L-4, & Bn. 9 responding to the Grand Central North Access, Box 8795.
1408 - Box 810 Transmitted - 200 Park Avenue - Smoke on the 9th floor. E-54, 1, 16 - L-21, 24 - B-6. (some units ended up on the Grand Central box).
1420 - Bn. 8 - We had a fire a restaurant on the concourse level. Fire was knocked down by the ansul system. We are chasing it through the duct system.
1426 - E-54 - Can you put us on the Grand Central Box? We are assisting E-26 with hooking up to the standpipe system.
1429 - Div. 3 - Transmit the 10-75 - All Hands - We have a fire in the duct work in the Junior's Restaurant on the lower level. Two precautionary lines stretched, all fire is knocked down. We have a medium smoke condition.
TL-21 FAST
1434 - Div. 3 - We have a medium smoke condition and water in the duct from the roof. Checking all levels for smoke. DWH
1442 - Div. 3 - Send us an extra Truck (L-16).
1446 - Bn. 8 - Searches are in progress. There is no evacuation of Grand Central at this time.
1450 - Div. 3 - Primaries are negative in the restaurant and on levels 3, 4, 5, & 6.
1513 - Car 6A - Secondaries are in progress, we purged towers B & D with the fans and are shutting them down. DWH
1532 - Car 6A - Under Control
