When I lived in Texas, the bulk of our Thanksgiving Day Turkey Fires were caused by turkey deep fryers. Out in the open, they were generally okay. In the garage, they were usually a manageable problem. Up against the side of the house, look out!Usually the oven would contain the fire, unless some genus opens the door to the oven and runs out of the kitchen. Thanksgiving turkeys are usually the result of oven fires.
Tsk Tsk Ta176, picking on geniuses. LOLUsually the oven would contain the fire, unless some genus opens the door to the oven and runs out of the kitchen. Thanksgiving turkeys are usually the result of oven fires.
Never saw them in Brooklyn when I was there. Left the New York area in 1991 and my first experience with them was in Texas around the mid to late 1990's.When I was working Turkey fryers weren't invented yet.
