I actually passed their quarters today. Still major work going on the apparatus floor. They are completely renovating it.

I actually passed their quarters today. Still major work going on the apparatus floor. They are completely renovating it.

I just heard today the reason for the long construction time is that when the work was almost completed, they discovered an underground stream under quarters. Mitigating potential future problems increased the need for more time.

Underground stream on 86st! Never knew it. I pass by there every day myself and was wondering why they've been relocated so long. Thanks for the info.
