Just wondering FDNY150, what is the response for a car fire in the Holland Tunnel? Do you notify FDJC and vice versa, and know what they are sending or does it matter what side the incident is on?

We have our set response to the Holland Tunnel. I don't have it in front of me, but just off the top of my head it's like 4 and 2, 2 BC's Rescue, Squad, Marine 1 and Marine 6. We notify JC, but I don't know what they send, if they send at all. We also notify PAPD.

FDNY units are never allowed onto Port Authority property. Units are usually threatened with arrest.

Strange story !
Is it PAPD property or responsibility?
Isn't the FNDY chief the incident commander and in charge of all services present?

I think FDNY chief op dept. has something to discuss about with the PD Chief.
And what about their boss. Is it his choice to split authority?
