Lou gets around, doesn't he?

It's also interesting to note that there were at least 2 Mack CFs at this incident.  One had the markings of Foam260 and one bore the FDNY designation MF8706 (Foam 294???).  I wonder how long it's been since there were 2 CFs on a fire scene in NY?

There was a stake truck type unit in the pictures (pictures 16 and 20). Anyone know what this unit is?

The last time would be the 10-86 for the Hudson River plane crash, although I don't suppose that's really a fire scene.  Prior to that I think the last foam response was to a 2nd alarm fuel tanker explosion near JFK a year or two back.

Nice shots by Lou as usual - noticed L167 with the aerial up - originally assigned as FAST truck but obviously put to work - some good photos of E274 and their Hazmat Unit (still looks like a bread truck) also - so I'm a little partial to 274.

167 wasn't obviously put to work, just looks like the chauffer made a heads up move putting the stick up to give the guys another way off the roof.  Just because their apparatus is being used doesnt mean they cant still be the Fast truck.

Looking at the run down I see that every unit, east of the Van Wyck to the cityline, and north of Union Turnpike to the Long Island Sound, was there with  the exception of E295 and L130.  And they drew companies south of Union and west of the Van Wyck.  Must have been a lot of relocations.

Its a stake type truck, not an engine, so it looks like 326.

I don't believe L129 was on the box either - they were on another alarm when their turn would have come (around 167 St and 32nd Ave) with E295 and TL 144 when the second alarm was sounded. TL 144 was a S/C later with TL 127

As far as relocations some shown in rundown - others included BC3 to BC53.

E96 relocated to E295 (not on Box 6334) around noon (related to Douglaston fire due to shortage of units in N/E Queens)

Also E303 was not on Box 6334 - they had relocated to E301 and E275 replaced them on the box.

Catry do you have anything further on relocations??

A little surprised 96 didn't go with the Foam Unit, they coulda gotten there faster than 260, I would think.
