Lately it seems that monitoring FDNY is a hit or miss proposition, more miss than hit. Both the OpenMHZ and the Broadcastify sites leave a lot to be desired. Some boros are missing, like Queens and Manhattan, as well as the Citywide site. I hope that things will return to sense of normalcy soon.

Lol, assuming you are not familiar with FDNY press conferences.. At large scale incidents like this having 11 people in it is pretty standard.
 
Question on coordination between the NYPD aviation unit and FDNY rescue units are they on the same frequency when they respond how do they coordinate during the rescue operation?

well theres no real need for that in my opinion, theres already a dozen or so handi-talki channels, with the "HT" ones being designated specifically for any use.
