With it being in his first due area he was probably listening to Tac and may have heard something that he was curious about or just wanted to go and see…. Some chiefs will over see operations behind the scenes and have gotten caught lolI see the Division is assigned on the All-Hands, Under Control. Is this more so that he knows an all-hands was transmitted in his area, or do they usually respond? I am thinking they usually don’t respond because the battalion many times states, “used all hands, fire under control, no need for additional resources or EMS, battalion is 10-8, units in the process.”
I do realize that a chief can and may respond to theoretically any call in his district, but does it happen regularly?
