Senior Officer is correct!

Postal zip codes starting with 113 are all considered Flushing - similarly zip codes starting with 114 are all considered Jamaica

Question for you Queens guys

When do they call it Flushing and when do they call it the other neighborhoods?

Always thought flushing ran

West to the Van Wick
North to Whitestone Expwy/ 25th Rd
East to Parsons Blvd
South Franklin Ave/ Kissena Blvd/59th Rd/Booth Memorial

Flushing Queens (that's a really big job!) is actually larger than most people think. It's not just the area surrounding Main St. & Roosevelt Ave.
Flushing is made up of the following - not sure if they could be categorized as hamlets or villages, but they run basically west from the city line and north from Union Turnpike, south from the East River (Little Neck Bay) to various parts west of the Van Wyck Expy.,including:
LaGuardia Airport, East Elmhurst, Maspeth, Middle Village, Rego Park, Jackson Heights, Corona,:.
East of the VanWyck: College Point, Linden Hill, Malba, Flushing, Beechhurst, Auburndale, Bayside, Fresh Meadows, Kew Garden Hills, Oakland Gardens, Douglaston, Little Neck and Ft. Totten.
I remember some old neighbors telling me that the area of Kissena Park around Kissena and Booth Memorial Ave. to the golf course used to be called Monkey Hill (I have no idea why or if it's actually true)
