Why was a 10-13 transmitted by PD?

I do not know ...i did not hear any report of PD trapped....possibly due to the Boston Marathon incident they may have thought it was terrorism.....workers were supposedy working on the setback roof.

OK dumb question.... Once saftey battalion is called dose saftey officer (Battalion chief) relieved from his duty as acting saftey chief?

Chief.... I think what he is asking is, lets say there is a 2nd alarm, a local chief is assigned as safety chief, when the Safety BN gets to the scene is the chief that was assigned as safety chief relieved of that duty.

Generally the BC will remain in a safety assignment even after the arrival of the actual safety BN on the scene.
