I just received an update on twitter from theBravest about a possible LODD at this job. Please tell me this isn't true.

The loss of any member from any department, paid or vollie affects us all. My family will offer prayers for your comfort. And as the "The Prayer" says, And if according to your will I will have to lose my life, God bless with your protecting hand my children and my wife.

Why were all of those units told to remain in quarters until contacted by the safety Batallion.

Unfortunately, it was obvious in listening to the progress reports, with the number of mixer off messages and various high level chiefs responding to the hospital, that something bad had occurred.
