Div 8 transmitted a 3rd Alarm for a large area of brush. Car 8 the I/C. Batt 40 staging Chief.
Time: 1226 hrs
Time: 1310 hrs PWH. 6 L/S/O, tower ladder's up to monitor.

Sounds a lot like March 9. That makes two that have hit 3 alarms or greater in there for the season.

And it's early!!!!!  Goes back again to that fact that closing any stations would be plain STUPID!!!!

I know. I just hope all of these large fires really make the mayor think before he takes any actions.

Box 8480 has had the most multiple alarmers on Staten Island for the past few years. Does anybody know what is the box with the most multiples in the city? ???

These multiples always have a way of coming at exactly the right time, thus proving to the higher echelons that closing companies, is generally a terrible idea.

Ya think they're listening?

I really hope they have at least one ear open. That way it doesn't sneak out the other side.

i think E276 was called in to cover one of the si engines, i saw there rig pulling onto the sie at about 3. anyone have a rundown?

It is possible. Were they playing "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" while on the SIE? They were playing it while driving down Kings Hwy on Thursday.

3563, Bronx?

Is that the Box with the most Multiples. Just curious. G-man is that right. What's the location ?

Im just guessing - there was 2 5th alarms & a 2nd alarm at that box last year, also an all hands.
Box location is E 204th St & Bainbridge Ave

Other than that, 8480 (this box) is very frequent for multiple alarms, just search 8480 in the search option on here.

Nah, as much as I'm a native 6th Div. Bronxite who settled on Staten Island 16 years ago, S.I. box 8480 had a 6th alarmer, a 4th and at least two 2nd's before this past 3rd alarmer all within a year.

That is a shame. Some of the guys in the back were even dancing along. I never knew the Marauder II's had a stereo in them.  ;)

Anybody have a rundown. Would love to see which units made it into SI this time. I am hoping another tiller made it's way over to continue on the trend.
