E281/L147 were 1st due, while responding to Box 1524, came upon the fire at E. 9th & Cortelyou Rd.
B48 had the job. (Box 1524 was 10-92)

E281 to BD: "we're pulling up on that job, do you want us to keep going to that other box?"
BD: "E. 9th St.? If it's a job and you're there, take it in."
BD to L147: "L147, are you with the Engine?"
L147: "10-4"
BD to L147: "ok, you're into that too"

L147 gave the 2nd Alarm

L147 to BD: "Urgent, give us a 2nd alarm, we have exposure problems"

L156 not assigned on 2-2 alarm, told to remain in service.
B48 to BD: "Box 3707, 374 E. 9th St., fire throughout, heavy fire in exposure 4, numerous lines stretched"

B48: "as per D15, transmit 3rd alarm"
