@1221: Div. 11 reports fire on the third floor with one line operating on the 3rd floor, also fire on the 5th floor with one line being stretched to 5th floor.

@1224: 33-8047: Div. 11 transmits a third alarm with a request for two ladders in addition to the third alarm..

@1237: Div. 11 reports heavy fire on the 5th floor, fire knocked down on the 3rd floor, 2 tower ladders in operation.

@1237: Ladder 109 acting Ladder 110 is 10-8, Engine 240 acting Engine 216 is 10-8, Engine 55 relocating to Engine 217.

@1245: Ladder 113 relocating to Ladder 112, Ladder 175 relocating to Ladder 104.

@1308: Div. 11 reports primary search on the fire floor and floors above are negative, checking for pockets of fire, special call one additional truck, fire is still doubtful.  Fire duration is one hour eight minutes.

@1310: Ladder 132 s/c.

@1312: Batt. 33(Air Recon) is released.

@1314: Engine 290 acting Engine 280 is 10-8; Batt. 51 acting Batt. 48 is 10-8.

@1330: Engine 307 acting Engine 211 is 10-8; Rescue 4 is 10-8 returning to Queens.

@1334: Div. 11 reports still checking for pockets of fire, all secondary searches are negative, special call HazMat Battalion and Haz Mat 1, fire is probably will hold, transmit a fourth alarm for relief purposes.

@1337: Rescue 2 is 10-8, Command TAC unit is 10-8, Marine 1 is 10-8.

@1342: Engine 3 and Hi-Rise 1 are 10-8 returning to Manhattan.

@1343: Field Comm: Car 7, Asst Chief Kilduff reports primary search on the 6th and 7th floor are negative, fire is under control.  Fire duration is one hour forty four minutes.

@1347: Ladder 119 is 10-8 from the Bureau of Training.

10-80 code 2 transmitted: Batt. 9, Batt. 45 (section leader) Ladder 9 (CPC truck), Engine 283 with Decon Trailer.

@1356: Ladder 161 acting Ladder 132 is 10-8.  Ladder 136 acting Ladder 111 is 10-8.

Batt. 12, Engine 35, and Ladder 14 responding as HazMat decon team.

@1445: Field Comm: It has been determined that no members need to be decontaminated; companies will be going 10-8 as they become available.  TAC-1 is 10-8; Div. 1 is 10-9.

@1448: Field Comm: we are changing from 10-80 code 2 to 10-80 no code; all units responding on the 10-80 can return; Engine 35, Battalion 12, and Ladder 14 are 10-8.

was this a phone alarm or did a unit in the field transmit it because maybe a half hour before box 8050 went out for a oil spill in the navy yard by building 292. im just wondering if they saw it when they were picking up.

i missed this 4 alarmer by a half hour...i work in the navy yard and just left after the oil spill box...maybe next time!!
