Suprised this bid wasn't out sooner, there getting up there in age and didn't they lose one during sandy, meaning the only spare is running full time ?

NYBravest82, are you sure?

I was there two weeks ago, they got the IM98001 as their Rig. A Firefighter told me, that they will use it, until the new TSU ist build.
The Vehicle that you show, was parked at Roosevelt Island..

How many are they going to buy, I would think they should probably be buying a third for a spare, seeing what they are using now for spares.

If you look at the bid sheet you will see that it appears they are ordering 4 units.  The unit price for each unit is a little over $570,000 and the total is about $2.3 million which would mean they are buying 4 units.

The 4th rig could replace SQ#1 second piece or maybe a new TAC?
