Very sad news on the loss of a firefighter in New Haven today.

Plus another New Haven Firefighter in serious condition.

Fighting fires is a dangerous job. To all those firefighters out there, please be careful. As any experienced firefighter will tell you, "things can change very quickly on the fire ground.

Yes, I worry about all those out there doing that job.

A Catholic service will be held on Thursday May 20, 2021 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary Church, 5 Hillhouse Avenue, New Haven. Masks are mandatory while in Church. Burial with full departmental honors will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
