Yes this area right next to the park every year gets hit with “too close to home” brush fires. Remember the fire in the park I think back in 09, six alarms on Easter Sunday.

My parents still live 2 blocks over. I remember some serious brush fires back in the '70s. You could see the flames over 2 blocks away.
