Reported fire on the first floor, visible flames

Engine 6 o/s got a 73 (working fire) heavy fire first and second floors of a 2.5 wood, reversing out to hydrant at Goffe.

PD reporting a possible arson, BOLO on a black KIA sedan

Car 34 working a 73 heavy fire all floors

Car 32 give me a 22 (second alarm)

Command reporting fire threw the roof, command to Truck 4 you have to get the aerial off the roof

Command to New Haven, Dispatch an additional engine above the 22

Engine 17 responding from Dixwell Station

Car 39 to New Haven, I’ll be command signal 23 (3rd alarm)

Did they call for city coverage from Hamden, East Haven & West Haven yet?

10s and T3 running the city alone they had a nice ride to SCSU

I’ve been out the game now Willis Maximus. Do they do call backs for E4A (Can’t get a truck) and C33A?

No call backs that I know of, I don’t think we have the equiptment and hose to get a reserve engine going in short amount of time anymore

That was good stuff 👍. 2 questions:

Who is 99?

They special called an engine above the 2nd. Then they transmitted the 3rd. If no special call before the 3rd, do NHFD cards call for 3 engines & 1 ladder on the third?

"99" is basically 10-4 or okay or roger or message received

As for assignments

Box Assignment (3) Engines (2) Trucks
Box Assignment Red Ball Box (4) Engines (2) Trucks
*Red Ball is for high rises, Hospitals, few other buildings around the Elm

Working Fire "Signal 73" (1) Engine
Working Fire "Signal 73" Red Ball Box (1) Engine (1) Truck

2nd Alarm "Signal 22" (2) Engines (For Both Regular & Red Ball Box)

*2 Engines & the Remaining BC Relocate*
Example Box 604 E-17 goes to E-9 E-5 Goes to E-6 Car-33 Goes to Car32

3rd Alarm "Signal 23" (2) Engine (1) Truck (For Both Regular & Red Ball Box)

*Remaining Engine & Truck Relocate
Example E-16 to E-9 T-3 to T-1

4th Alarm "Signal 24" (2) Engines (1) Truck (1) Battalion Chief


Now once they give a 22 they should start asking for mutual aide city coverage
West Haven Engine to Engine 9. Hamden Engine to Engine 8. East Haven Engine to Engine 5

3rd Alarm with out a dbout there should be surrounding towns covering. For this job there was not. You had (1) Engine & (1) Truck Covering the entire City

Years ago they did call backs for Engine 4A Truck 1A & Car 33A but they don't have the spares to do so
