New London FD responded to a house fire at 26 Prospect Street. Heavy fire was seen on the upper floors of a 3 1/2 story wood frame dwelling. All NLFD units responded and then additional assistance was provided by units from Waterford and Poquonnock Bridge FDs. A FAST team from the Sub Base FD in Groton also responded. One firefighter suffered minor injuries; 14 residents were displaced.
