"66" is the boro designation for manhattan and the Bronx, "7-5" is the level of alarm (all hands), and 1594 is the box.

In the other post it said BC16 requested 2 trucks above the all hands... The decision dispatcher gave the 16 the 3rd truck before anyone got in due to numerous calls for entrapment and people on the fire escapes. Once on scene he asked for an additional 1&1 above what he already had.

Borough Designators go back to the old bell system.
66=Bronx and Manhattan
77=Brooklyn
88=SI
99-Q

So a 3rd alarm at queens Box 6057 would read out 99-33-6057. This is also how it would be written on the manual system tally sheets. It's always what, where, who when it comes to companies, like 5-1563-59, or 7-1477-14. Where, what, where for multiple alarms and All hands.
