7/2/09 Bronx - 3rd Alarm

Address: 597 E138 st between St Anns and Cypress Aves
Type of Incident: Originally a 2 and 2 for a kitchen fire on the 3rd floor, fire extended into the walls and up to the cockloft of a 6 story OMD.  2nd alarm went out at approximately 4:30 and fire went Under Control at around 06:00 hours.
 
That should be Box 2147 with E83, 60, Sq41, L29, TL17 & BC14. L42 FAST, E73 extra , 2-2 should be E35, 71, 59, L14, L55 ;)
 
Just saw Ch7 Eyewitness News and they say there was another job just before this one on 137th St. in a housing project and it was only a couple of blocks away.
 
The first job was 360 E. 137th X Alexander. A burning couch was pulled out of a 16th floor apartment and placed in the hallway outside the elevator. 10-75 at 0140hrs. (6) cops, (3) civilians treated.
 
Is there a possible run down available for this job. Thanks and every one have a Happy and Safe 4th.
 
Thanks G'man - that's a pretty old church where I was the ring bearer at a wedding many years ago.
 
That rundown is wrong.  83 was O.O.S and didnt go until the second alarm.  Ladde 48 was never special called.  Enging 94 didnt go on the 3rd alarm.  I dont know if any other info is wrong.  But I do know that those units did not go.
 
2nd alarm was transmitted fire in the 4th & 5th floor walls, possibly the 6th floor also.
3rd alarm was for fire in the 4th 5th 6th & cockloft

  Wow, another case of the 1st due company being OOS when a big job comes in. This time it was almost directly in front of E83's quarters [618 E 138 to 597 E 138 St.].
