Without a doubt in my mind, if anybody was able to deal with a situation like this, "it was the FDNY".
The chiefs put their years of experience and expertise together and as a result we can see that a major disaster was avoided.

57,000 lbs of water coming down in a place like midtown Manhattan vs some huge brush fire area - is a totally different story.

Once again, my highest praise for the Great Job that "The Bravest" has done.

It seems like it was transmitted either with or after the request for major matrix, as indicated by the 2nd squad on 2nd alm. 2nd squad gets assigned on the 10-60 not the major matrix.
If it was requested even in a mixer off, the CO would have rebroadcasted it.
