@2306: Box 2133 transmitted for a fire at 790 Snediker Avenue, near Stanley Avenue.

Engine 290, 231, 257 (became available)   Ladders 103, 170 (became available)  Batt. 44

@2312: Batt. 58 became available, replacing Batt. 44, Batt. is 10-8.

@2314: 10-75-2133 by Engine 231.
Engine 283 (4th due), Ladder 120 (fast truck), Squad 252. Rescue 2, Batt. 44, Div. 15

@2316: 75-2133: Batt. 58 reports using all hands for a fire on the top floor of a 2 story frame 25 x 50, one line stretched and in operation, searches being made, fire is doubtful.  Exposures: 1- street, 2- alley, 3- yard, 4- similar attached.  RAC 2 assigned.

@2318:  Batt. 58 reports water on the fire, second line being stretched, primary search on the fire floor is negative.

@2323: Div. 15: Deputy Chief Jakubowski reports fire knocked down, slight extention into the cockloft, probably will hold.  Duration 17 minutes.

@2327: Squad 252 is 10-8.

@2329: Div. 15: DC Jakubowski reports secondary searches are still in progress, fire is under control, Batt. 58 is the IC.

@2334: Batt. 58 requests a salvage truck.  Ladder 159 s/c.

@2338: Secondary searches complete and negative.
 
Good post john!! What part of Brooklyn was this fire in? Brownsville? just curious
 
It is either southern Brownsville or northern Canarsie.  Could also be called the New Lots Section.  It is right where several areas come together.
