When we moved up to Rockaway Ave. & Chauncey St. we made a big impact on 111 and 112 response area. We now had more Bed Stuy and closer to Bushwick. Broadway was still undeveloped as a result of the 77 blackout and at night was a breeze responding on it. I've been there recently and responding must be a nightmare with speed bumps and more traffic lights and not to mention traffic that was almost non existent back in the 70's & 80's. I can say one night I was detailed to 107 on NJ ave. and we relocated to 112 when they were on Madison St., and that was more than 50 years ago. When we were in the Tin House we relocated a lot to 112 on Knickerbocker Ave. and sometimes miss a job in Brownsville.
