Not sure when the box came in, but if it was before 1800 the van might be to effect relief. Just a guess.

That’s what I always thought. But when I noticed it at the Manhattan Job it was 10:15 in the morning

If the box came in before 0900 hrs. and there were units still operating well after the hour, depending on how long they expect operations to continue, they will at times activate the division van to transport members of the day crew to relieve members not working the 9x6 tour.

The van responds to assist at the Command Post setting up the table ...the tent etc. lots of new equipment today.
