S/C truck was L-33, S/C Eng. E-75, not sure who the 4th Eng. was

E-88 was at Box 2977

62/32 1.6 mi. & have to come across Gun Hill Rd. (over the Bx. River P'kwy) - usually a nightmare, then down Webster Ave.
48/56 1.2 mi. straight shot up Webster Ave.

My mistake and I stand corrected. Not having my assignment guide handy I thought Box 3530 was at 204th and Decatur, not Mosholu Pkwy N.

But Ah ha...here's where the fun starts. If you reverse 62/32s route, from either the Box or the address, it is 1.1 miles. That is traditionally how they would go, against traffic on WP Rd to Gun Hill, against traffic from 204th south on Decatur, as all other companies would be approaching north on Decatur.
In ancient times (my youth) when these assignments were determined by a rolling wheel calibrated to the scale of an actual map, street directions were usually ignored but unit access was considered. Not so anymore since the advent of computerization, BARB, etc,.

48/56 are 1.1 miles to the box, 1.2 to the address. And they have to navigate through Fordham and Webster, likely a lot worse than Gun Hill at the BRP. But it is a straight run for them so I concede the point.

Yes Mike, sorry, I heard them going 10-8 from an EMS box 2971, but later I did hear that they were assigned to Box 2977 and meant to change the entry.
Was that bold print like yelling, lol?
