I would think 8050 would be 210 1st Due.....not sure how barb changes went on this but the area inside the Navy Yard can only be accessed thru the few Gates along the perimeter ....for 8050 210 would enter from the Washington Ave Gate on Flushing Ave .

The only thing I can think of Chief is it was on Gee Ave which has a gate right there I think which is a little closer for 211

I am not entirely sure anymore....it has been awhile since I was around there responding 1st Due from Carlton Ave ......I do remember that when there was more Navy involvement security was tight & only the Main gates were manned (Washington Ave as well as Sands St were the two big ones back then ) & other ancillary gates were kept locked unless access was needed to a particular area & not used for normal FD response ....back then the gate on Kent Ave closest to 211/119 only allowed access to the DCAS area where old NYC Vehicles used to be auctioned off ......even back then many areas of the Yard were sectioned off .....today with all the civilian occupancies I guess anything is possible.

The yard has changed. There is a movie studio in there besides the home base to NYC Ferry. Kent Ave gate was changed to full access to the entire facility. A new gate was established for the DCAS area along Kent Ave.

At one time E 207 took Sat 6 on any call inside the Navy Yard.

210 is still 1st due .....still the augmented response with 207 2nd due taking the Sattelite and R2 still on box but that may change since the yard comes in daily now and the move to the new quarters.
