So now my mistake filled Pre-Edited Live rundowns posted here are being copied onto FDNYING without credit ...... Isn't that plagiarism ???  ...... Then it gets copied back on here ..........  Oh Well, guess I need to get in touch with my copyright lawyers tomorrow.    ;)

I didn't see any rescue at 3:50, the only thing I saw was what looked like a firefighter falling from the parapet wall at about 2:56.  I'm assuming he is the one that was shown later on being carried in a stokes basket.

Long life spring has a contract with the FDNY to do spring work on all vehicles. Were there any rigs inside getting worked on damaged?

Why would ESU be backing into the front of a fire building?  Don't they realize how much they get in the way?

They were making a U turn to get out of the way by the looks of it.
Of course you also have to ask the question why were they even there?  It was certainly no need for them!

I don't know how the FDNY handles it, but when a vehicle is OOS for repairs at my job, it cannot be used until transportation places it back in service. I would imagine it is the same for FDNY.
