0552 - Bn. 39 - Do you have a 10-7 or anything further?

0553 - E-290 - Transmit the 10-75, the fire is at Shepherd and Stanley.

H&L-175 FAST

0556 - Bn. 39 - We have heavy smoke coming from the roll downs.  Gaining access now.

0559 - Bn. 39 - All Hands - We have heavy smoke.  2 L/S, 1 L/O, trying to find the seat of the fire.

0600 - Bn. 39 - Transmit the 2nd Alarm.

0606 - Bn. 39 - We have water on the fire.

0613 - Div. 15 - 2 L/S/O, fire knocked down in the front of the building, trying to gain access to the rear.  Requesting 2 additional Trucks (L-173, L-176).

0626 - FC per Car 7 - Primaries are complete and negative.  DWH

0642 - FC - MBFKD, Secondaries are in progress, there will be extensive overhaul.  PWH - Duration 52 minutes.

0650 - FC - Secondaries are complete and negative in the fire building and exposure 2.  Under Control - Duration 1 hour 1 minute.

Just a quick question about FDNY terminology,,,,I see the expression,,MBFKD,,I might be wrong but I figure the FKD, means,,,fire knocked down,,,if that's right what does the "MB" stand for,,,thanks.

MBFKD stands for "main body of fire knocked down".
