1st call for this was smoke from the roof of a multiple dwelling then multiple calls for fire on the roof (4, 2 & Rescue), 10-75 given by BC-11 for fire on the roof, then he reported the truck had fire coming from the bulkhead door & heavy fire on the roof, all hands extra engine & truck. On the arrival of Div3 a 2nd alarm was transmitted for fire on the top floor also (in 2 apartments). Fire extended to the 8th floor of the 9 story exposure into 1 apartment, and since additional engines were parked on Amsterdam Ave there was long stretches to the front of the exposure building so a 3rd alarm was transmitted for engines due to that. 2 additional trucks above the 3rd.

& Yes, L-16 was FAST, w/ L-4 the extra truck on the A/H.
