Normally a 1st Due BN*46 Box....also 288 if available MAY be assigned as the 3rd Due ENG. close to their cutoff....There is a smaller bldg to the left of this one that twice in the early 2000s had a car crash INTO the basement level storefront down a few steps winding up inside .....this is right across QNS Blvd from 292/R*4 Qtrs.......  FOS photos....http://www.firstonscenephotos.com/FDNY/Queens/Queens-2015-2016/091015-Woodside-All-Hands/i-7VCm7fP

Rescue 4 /E292 was conducting roll call when they heard the accident and reported it as a "verbal".  65th/pl & Queens Blvd is a bad intersection ...scene of numerous auto accidents over the years , and yes ,sq-288 is assigned as an engine on that box.

Talk about a fast response time...

Yea ,and they are in the process of putting in bike lanes in both directions . There are several location where the traffic from the express lanes cross over the bike lane to access the local lanes , should be interesting !!!

Maybe when that's accomplished they'll re-open St. John's Hospital at 57th Avenue as a Level 1 Trauma Center. Be a money maker.

Memory.....I wish your dream came true as far as St John's Hospital reopening.  I worked there from August 1988 up to the day it was sold to the new  owner which was Nov. 20th 2009.  I actually worked for the new owner from. Nov 20th thru Nov 2010 when l went for my first of many surgeries when.l.got hurt in that bukling.
Unfortunately there will never be a hospital on.the site ever again...The only chance it had was when LIJ was looking to.purchase it but that went south....but thanks for those hospital memories..

And congratulations to the developers and officials of at least two administrations who'll be buying new boats and aircraft and sending their children through college because the LIJ deal went south.  Not that I'm cynical or anything like that.
