CIDS: Commercial 1-story 100x50 Class 6 auto body shop. Heavy timber wood truss roof. Hazmat: acetylene and oxygen tanks, flammable liquids, lacquer thinners, 20-gallon drums

Is it just me or does seem like there have been quite a few major fires in auto body shops both in NYC and northern New Jersery ? Are they using some new hazardous materials or is something else going on ?

Possible electric car batteries I’d say. Can explain the report of explosions heard in this one with initial caller.
 
I would be interested in knowing the 10/8 in the response area of the relocating trucks due to the fact that on the 2nd alarm there were no more trucks available on the North Shore .

There seems to be a lot of car fires this year so maybe the build quality of cars went down.
 
This was a vehicle slavage yard. That is all there stock. The place is called Ace Auto slavage.
