3 jobs for 92/44 since Tuesday.

"WornOut", it wasn't too long ago when 92/44 would get three jobs a day during my 1980s buff trips. I'd hang out around there and places like Echo place, Sheridan, College, Fidley, and Morris Aves were burning. It sure was a busy place.

It's was that busy when my pops was in 44 until at least the mid 90's!

Res5Cue your Pops sure caught his share of work if he was at 44 truck. I know because I was there. I can still picture them going under the Grand Concourse at 170th St. And you're right, the action continued until around the mid 90s. But by then, plenty of blocks had those burned out six bricks. I can understand why you might be so proud of your Pops. That Ladder 44 sure was a busy outfit.

R.T. Just one of many reasons I'm proud of my pops and came from and went onto some of the best houses the FDNY had to offer
