120 pct is one of the busiest in the city. It is also Labor Day weekend. Neighborhood is Caribian. Probably increased numbers working. Buildings on the block have fair share of crime
UPS doesn’t deliver inside of those buildings. You have to go to truck since the 80’s. Too many of their drivers were attacked

Thank you for that info. I don’t know much about SI and only have been there roughly 4 times.

As a side note, I worked regularly in 3 boros. Usually a big PD response on SI. Cops working on SI live on the Island

120 has been considered an “A” house on pd for over 40 years. The 123 on the south shore was nicknamed Mayberry. I think it was Braton that made them take down their screen door. The crime has always been in certain neighborhoods, just like anywhere else. Post and news never really covered
