From todays 1-15-19 Dept Order.....2.7 COMMUNICATIONS MANUAL CHAPTER 8
Communications Manual, Chapter 8, titled Radio Communications, dated July 8, 2008, is amended as follows:
Under Signal 10-76 Add: The following:
Upon transmission of a 10-76 for a fire in a Mega High-Rise, an enhanced response of 1 BC and 2 Ladder
Companies will be added to the assignment.
Under Signal 10-77 Add: The following:
Upon transmission of a 10-77 for a fire in a Mega High-Rise, an enhanced response of 1 BC, 2 Ladder
Companies and a Communications Unit will be added to the assignment.
Affected pages 19-20 (Rev. 01/15/19) reflecting these changes have been issued to all Bureaus and Divisions for equal distribution to all units under their command.......FYI Mega High-Rise = any bldg over 800 feet in height.

Currently in the city of NY

31 buildings over 800 Feet

13 Under Construction over 800 Feet

12 Proposed over 800 Feet
Included in the proposals are 1 5000 Ft+  1 4000 Ft +  1 2000 Ft

The 5000ft and the 4000ft ones will never happen for a variety of reasons including the FAA. The 2000ft may happen but I'd even be skeptical about that.

Interesting thing, Chief, is that there will be 2 (or more) Hudson Yards buildings in the list when they're complete . . . close to 20% of the mega-high rises in one small area, without significant fire protection.  Bad show.

It took a VERY long string, Brad.  BTW:  There are only 30 listed.  1 Manhattan West (995') escaped while I was copying. I got it from several sources, but the simplest is a list on Wikipedia.  There are a few differences in the order, mostly due to heights varying depending on measuring to the top floor or the top of any tower that might be on the building (such as the antennas on the Empire State).
