Worked with Big John Manning, when he was Lt. in Engine 75. He could have been the inspiration for Jimmy Dean's song Big Bad John. He was one of the biggest man to ever serve in the FDNY. In the last 3 weeks E 75 has lost 3 former members Big John Manning, Dennis Gilhooly ans Cliff Dimuro. Rest in peace my brothers.

Rest in peace Captain Manning. In November of this year, I lost four brothers that I worked with due to Islamic terrorist induced cancer. Rick Tanagretta (R3 / R5), Rich Estricher (L156, R5, E248), Cliff Dimuro (E75 / L33), Dennis Gilhooly (E75 / L33, E 67). Never forgive, never forget.
