I think that job resulted in some steel support members twisting and the closing of the Tri Boro Bridge for several weeks while repairs were done

That lumber yard was directly underneath part of that bridge.

That fire looked unreal. Respect to the FDNY for keeping that to 5 alarms.

The fire that was under the Triboro Bridge was on Jun 26, 1972 and cause the Triboro Bridge to shut down for the first time in its history. It was a warehouse fire. Marine 5 was unable to get near the fire to supply water and the Superpumper was a primary source of water for operating companies. It shut the bridge for about a day and caused structural damage.
